KCUR's Central Standard is doing a pretty sweet thing with Google maps. It's mapping out all of Kansas City's murals (see the project here), including the Martin Luther King Jr. mural that Alexander Austin painted in 1993 (check out the awesome audio interview and slideshow that were done with Austin).

Central Standard intern Tomeka Weatherspoon also did audio/slideshow interviews with graffiti artist Gear and artist Jose Faus (part one and part two).

In case you missed it, here's the August 4 edition of Central Standard that talks about the city's wall art.
