Ira Glass goes to Worlds of Fun for the games, not the rides

This American Life host Ira Glass spent some time at Worlds of Fun recently talking to Cole Lindbergh, an 11-year employee of the amusement park.

Lindbergh is described as being like The Office's strange-but-kindhearted boss, Michael Scott. It's hard to argue after seeing YouTube videos Lindbergh has made about running the park's games department. It's a fun piece about a guy who clearly has found a job he loves. Listen to it here and see videos of Lindbergh after the jump, which Glass "heartily" recommends.

This guy is golden! This bosses should be kissing his shoes for having such an awesome dept. manager on staff. If I was them, I would be working overtime to make sure he NEVER leaves.

No no, bad enunciation I'm sure. How a mumbler like me ended up with a national radio show is amazing.

Ira Glass writing. I heartily recommend them, not 'hardly.'
