Lande's son, Corey, told the TV station that his father's sexomnia defense is "just another way for him to put off the blame and responsibility for things he's done."
Randy Lande, 45, was charged in February with one count of forcible rape, five counts of forcible sodomy and one count of kidnapping. The girl was so badly injured that she required surgery. In an interview with police, Lande admitted "fondling" the girl.
Corey Lande added that there's no hope for his father.
"No classes are going to fix him," he told Fox 4. "The only place for him is jail. All he does is damage people's lives."
"I don't want anything to do with him," he added. "I hope he goes to jail for the rest of his life for the things he's done. He needs to be held accountable."
