The Fighting Swedes of Bethany College owe the Red Hot Chili Peppers royalties for this nude photo

Bethany College's Fighting Swedes golfers probably aren't old enough to remember when Anthony Kiedis, Flea and the rest of the Red Hot Chili Peppers covered their dongs with socks. They were reportedly inspired by the fellas at UCLA who used golf balls to hide their wangs. The Fighting Swedes took the naked photo above using clubs to hide their, uh, woods.

Being a Lutheran school and all, the golf team's coach, Jon Daniels, suspended 15 members of the team from three tournaments. But never fear. Team captain Jack Hiscock told KAKE News that the whole story is overblown and the free-balling 15 are appealing their suspension. I only count 14 in the picture. Maybe one lucky dude got to play photographer. Sweet, broskis.

H/t: Deadspin.

Don't tempt the Chili Peppers. Those old, irrelevant bastards will try and sue people for anything. They tried to sue the tv show Californication for using the word Californication, despite the fact that it was coined in Time Magazine in 1966.
