Babette the Terrier wandered into Arrowhead Stadium during last Chiefs game; now she needs a forever home

Babette needs a forever home ... like yours.

Dog lovers and Chiefs fans, this one's for you. Babette the terrier needs a forever home. She's on Petfinder now (see her profile here).

Ex-Pitch calendar editor Crystal K. Wiebe tells us that Babette wandered into Arrowhead Stadium during the last Chiefs home game, which would have been the August 26 game against St. Louis. As her profile says, she was picked up at 1 Arrowhead Drive, and we all know what's out there.

We're told Babette is "super docile and sweet." And obviously cute from the photo. How could you say no to that face?

Can't believe NO ONE in "Chiefs Land" stepped up to adopt this cutie. I've about given up on humanity.

Great idea, Jennifer! I challenged the Chiefs to help her out in a post on my blog (that no one reads).

Why in god's name did someone take this poor little thing to KCMO Pound/death row/disease hole??????? Obviously people don't know what's going on there! I hope she survives!

Can the Chiefs adopt her?? Set a great example? She would be adorable in a Chiefs jersey!

Only mothers and dogs love you unconditionally.

She'll find a good home.
