The ex-boyfriend of missing Belton teen Kara Kopetsky pleaded guilty to an unrelated domestic-violence charge on Tuesday.

KSHB Channel 41 investigative reporter Russ Ptacek reported that 22-year-old Kylr Yust allegedly choked and struck his pregnant, 18-year-old, now ex-girlfriend. Yust allegedly told her that he'd killed before.

"I’ve killed people before, even ex-girlfriends out of sheer jealousy," Yust allegedly told the victim. "I will kill you."

Yust allegedly added that he knew “where there were pigs that would eat anything including bones, that he had seen arms ripped off people while they were still alive, and he had seen people dropped in barrels of acid to destroy evidence."

Kopetsky hasn't been seen since May 2007 when surveillance video showed her leaving Belton High School. She was 17 at the time. Kopetsky filed a restraining order against Yust just days before her disappearance. Kopetsky claimed that she was choked, kidnapped and threatened by Yust.

Yust admitted that he was considered a suspect in Kopetsky's disappearance, but he had an alibi and passed a lie detector test.

The charges against Yust come from a July 22-23 incident in Kansas City. Court records say Yust told his girlfriend: "If you scream again, I will kill you, faster than you can let another scream out of your throat."

The victim also told police that Yust killed three kittens, allegedly slamming one on the floor repeatedly and putting the other two in a sack and throwing them in a river.

Yust reportedly cut a plea deal to have no contact with the victim and attend anger-management classes.

Rhonda Beckford, Kopetsky's mother, told Channel 41 that she wants authorities to search the farm that Yust allegedly referred to while threatening his girlfriend. Beckford has more thoughts on Yust, so check out Channel 41's story.

I agree this guy is a sicko,,but didnt they say he passed a polygraph? I seen in another net site, the cops didnt make public, a party house where a cadaver dog picked up her scent.....I just think all these cases..police because of protocol..they move much too slow....24 hr wait is 24 hrs of a life.....I pray they at least find her body so they can give her proper burial....young girls....& guys for that matter...beware.....killers are out there.....always stay in groups....always have home contact.....it can happen to anyone........<3

Can't believe this worthless piece used to live with me. When he left it were as if he had vanished, leaving lots of stuff behind, including a plastic tub full of Kara's things (clothes, letters, etc.). Needless to say, it was all turnedin to the police

I agree with Wink. Anything I've seen about this guy on the news gave me a bad gut feeling (not to mention the red flag of the restraining order Kara had against him!) and now to hear he harms animals which any Criminology class will tell you is how most serial killers start (no respect for life) AND to harm his pregnant girlfriend. What a sicko. I sure hope Karma hurries up and gets him. Throw him in jail for the current charges and let the prisoners have at him....they'll be mad enough he beat up a pregnant woman. I hope Kara's family gets justice.

Dave-At this point, I'd give it another 4 years.

You can even pick the rib joint.

I'll take your bet, Wink. So, now, who decides and by what date? I agree the guy should be considered a suspect, but to say yep, he's guilty and should be put to death, as some others have said, is a bit premature. Ya know, it's that whole innocent until proven guilty thing. It's that whole, if we "know" this guy did it, why follow any other leads, thing. *Sigh*

Oh, he killed her alright. It has to be just a matter of time before they find evidence of that. He's too stupid and ignorant to get away with it. I'm sure they just need to look in the right spot. Like the farm perhaps. And something better be done about him, or he will kill again. The guy's not right.

LMAO!! "He's probably angsty cause his parents didn't put any vowels in his name" lol! ....seriously tho, who kills kittens?! how f'd in the head do u have to be to kill kittens and to knock your PREGNANT gf around?! even if he didn't kill Kara(which by the sounds of it, i think he did) then he should be locked up for assault and crimes on animals! Isn't that the number one way to pick out a serial killer before they do anything - someone who kills animals for fun??

Seems like tough for a scene kid. I figured fans of Attack Attack! were all talk and no action. He's probably all angsty cause his parents didn't put any vowels in his name.

Killed three kittens and choked his girlfriend... this dude needs a lot more than anger management classes.

The last thing I am is a detective, but I have suspected this guy from the get go. His repeated abuse of women should be the first clue.

I'll bet any poster on this board a rib dinner he's the reason for Kara's disappearance.
