The ban covers K2, K3, Syn, and Spice, which were outlawed in Missouri by lawmakers in 2010. And guess what? The KCPD is going to crack down on users, dealers and manufacturers.
Corwin writes that the "KCPD is working hard to enforce that ban," by:
1. Monitoring retail outlets and those who sell synthetic cannabinoids
2. Locating manufacturers and dismantling their operations
3. Stopping shipments of the chemicals from overseas and domestically
Corwin goes on to write about the dangers of the drugs. He also gives us a recipe:
"Sergeant Tim Witcig of our Drug Enforcement Unit said most of the synthetic cannabinoid chemicals come to the U.S. in powder form from overseas, usually from China. It is completely unregulated. Dealers in the United States then mix it with a liquid like acetone or alcohol and spray it on plant material. Studies have shown these synthetic drugs can be up to 10 times stronger than marijuana and produce significant negative effects on the human body."
And this wouldn't be a blog from the chief without some stories of the dangers, like a KC teen who smoked K2 on his way to school and went into cardiac arrest (he was saved, thanks to school officials). There's also stories of users who "carve their bodies up with knives and throw themselves out of moving vehicles into traffic." Not what The Pitch's product testers experienced when they tried K2.

Thanks to Chief Corwin for his many years of service. I hear he is retiring.

I just ignore the ban. USPS will mail me anything from anywhere. Good luck with your ban thingy though! :D
Smoking bath salts however, totally legal. So go nuts (literally), slap on a bikini, slaughter your neighbor's goat & wander the highways of 'merica. Cause thats how we do it in Missouri.
*sigh*
