LeBron James won't be coming back to Kansas City; NBA cancels preseason game at Sprint Center

Posted by Justin Kendall on Fri, Sep 23, 2011 at 3:09 PM

In news that sucks, the October 15 NBA preseason game between the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets has been canceled due to the lack of a labor deal.

Today, the NBA postponed training camp, which was supposed to open October 3, as well as all preseason games from October 9 to 15. This is getting grim for people (namely me) who want pro basketball this fall. http://www.sprintcenter.com/events/detail/houston_rockets_vs._miami_heat

The Sprint Center announced that refunds will be available at the point of purchase beginning 10 a.m. Monday.

So no LeBron James. No Dwyane Wade. No basketball. Blah.
