Dimmick is serving an 11-year-sentence for the 2009 hostage situation in which he held Jared and Lindsay Rowley at knifepoint while hiding from the police, who he said were out to kill him. Police were looking for Dimmick, who they wanted to speak with about a man killed in Colorado.
The Rowleys escaped and called the cops when Dimmick fell asleep. That, Dimmick claims, broke a verbal agreement that the Rowleys made to hide him from police in exchange for money. Damn. If you can't trust the people you're holding at knifepoint, then who can you trust?
Dimmick, "in a hand-written, notarized court document," claimed the Rowleys told him that they wouldn't turn him into police, “therefore forging a legally-binding oral contract.
“Later, the Rowleys reneged on said oral contract, resulting in my being shot in the back by authorities,” Dimmick wrote.
Dimmick is reportedly representing himself. He wants $235,000 in damages. The Rowleys are asking that the case be dismissed.
Dimmick hasn't been a model, Andy Dufresne prisoner. He's been disciplined for lying, fighting, violating published orders, talking without permission, and unauthorized dealing or trading.

This is why I keep loaded guns in my house. This poor, unfortunate couple should've taken the opportunity to kill this MF when they had the chance. SHAME on the legal system. Can't this prisoner, piece of feces get lost in the system somewhere, in an unlit cell, where he can be eaten by his fellow prisoners?
