Don Harman public memorial service scheduled for December 17

Fox 4 announced that a public memorial service will be held for Don Harman, the station's morning meteorologist who committed suicide November 29.

The public tribute to Harman will be held in the Grand Hall under the clock at Union Station from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, December 17.

Harman was 41. He is survived by his wife, Monica, and young daughter, Avery.

John Landsberg reported that a private memorial service was held at Fox 4 on Wednesday.

Harman had been part of Fox 4's morning news show since April 1999. His quirky humor was featured on the show.
