Somewhere a young Kansas boy is dreaming of a future where he is dating a Kardashian or perhaps catches Katy Perry on the rebound. And the reason that he is free to dream is one Jason Sudeikis — the Shawnee Mission West graduate and current cast member of
Saturday Night Live. Because Sudeikis has officially entered the group known as the "Adam Duritz All-Stars," a small cadre of men dating women who theoretically should be out of their league but are attracted to them because they do one thing exceptionally well.
The frontman for the Counting Crows, Duritz paved the way with tightly curled dreadlocks and a slew of Top-40 hits. Over the past decade, there are few who have kept up with the Mr. Jones. But Sudeikis is making a bid for consideration, having dated January Jones and then being linked to Heather Graham and Olivia Wilde.
Duritz sang. Sudeikis makes people laugh with ease. So you've got to find your talent, young Kansas dreamer. Until then, you can just live vicariously through another hometown boy actually living the dream.
