Hall, Roberson and Hill were found shot to death inside an apartment at 901 East Linwood on September 18, 2011.
Court documents say Bruce had told detectives that he was inside the apartment at the time of the shootings but was outside of the room where shots were fired. However, DNA evidence collected from a red Roca Wear hoodie that Bruce was wearing that night matched Phillip Hall. Also, footprint impressions at the crime scene matched the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 shoes that Bruce was wearing.
Bruce is charged with three counts of second-degree murder and three counts of armed criminal action.
