According to study author Mike Colpitts, Kansas City, Kansas, topped the list of 25 cities because of rising corn, soybean and livestock prices, as well as a strong manufacturing base. The median price of a home in the city is predicted to rise to $142,830. So to those who question why you moved to Wyandotte County, you can now calmly explain that it was a fiscally prudent decision that will be rewarded in the same fashion as a careful buy-and-hold stock-selection strategy. Either that or we all just want to be closer to El Camino Real.

Upon entering"The Wyandotte Zone", you can feel your IQ lowering. There is an uncontrollable urge to listen to Kid Rock and to let your pants sag down past your ass and make exclamations like "yo, some Hawaiian Punch be good right now, dog".
to what a joke-
Probably those morons that live in downtown KC Mo who bought into the "urban experience" and are afraid of being shot, mugged and carjacked, sick of crumbling infrastructure and the failed school system.......
I'll give him manufacturing base (Fairfax), but WTF do corn, soybean, and livestock prices have to do with KCK?
The fact that this guy thinks KCK's current median home price is ~$136k tells you all you need to know about the validity of this report.
Who would want to live in the trashiest city. with all illegal immigrants and illegal jobs and very poor oppurtunities for jobs or shelter, and education
Who the fuck is this writer trying to fool with this article?? They said the same thing before they opened Legends and The KS Speedway!!
Wyandotte County is the poorest County in the state of Kansas, The people there can not even afford to pay there personal property taxes. So if the values go up, so does the personal property tax. The Speedway and the shops cater to Johnson Countians, the majority of the poor people in this town cannot even afford to shop there.
