Crook was reportedly killed when someone walked up to the vehicle he was sitting in and opened fire.

The victim's father said his son, Craig Crook, was not involved in drugs or anything illegal. He said Crook was on the way to pick up a nephew and the nephew's friend and take them to an event at the Sprint Center.
Sad news. Crook is KCMO's eighth homicide victim of 2012. His death comes a day after the Violence Policy Center released a study showing that Missouri has the nation's highest black homicide rate. It's the second year in a row that the Show-Me State has ranked first in black homicides.

Yet again Channel 9 refuses to give a Description of 2 Shooting Suspects who shot a man, and are still on the loose. So KMBC TV Ch 9, is helping to provide cover to Criminals who commit crimes in Kansas City area by NOT giving a description of the Suspects, all they'll say anymore is police are looking for 2 suspects - KMBC TV Ch 9, will NOT say rather their White, Black or Mexican - KMBC TV CH9 is playing the "POLITICAL RACE Card", and Helping the Criminals and provide cover to them, so the rest of the city is under seige !
