  The 3rd Annual Greater Kansas City Bartending Competition held on Sunday, November 22nd at 6 p.m. at the Uptown Theater, in Kansas City, Missouri. This event, co-founded by Doug Frost and Ryan Maybee, welcomes Dave Wondrich, as a guest judge and features Hendrick�s Gin as this year�s presenting sponsor. The competing bartenders are judged on skill, creativity, and classic cocktail knowledge . The competition pits 10 of the city�s best mixologists against one another as they create a signature cocktail of their own and a classic cocktail per the judges� request. The competition is similar to a TV network food challenge and the audience is encouraged to participate through live text message voting.
