Soft Reeds is the Nashville-based project of ex-Kansas City musician Ben Grimes. Back in November, the Wayward Son wrote about how for Grimes -- who used to front the Golden Republic -- a departure from this scene was just what he needed to get his muse back. Today, Grimes posted new evidence of that -- three Soft Reeds songs, free for downloading.
