  • The Download: New Team9 MP3s

Claire "Bear" McCaskill made the list, which includes Britney Spears, Shaquille O'Neal, the Dalai Lama, Snoop Dogg and, of course, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. Why?Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill is one of the most followed politicans [sic] on Twitter, largely because she actually reveals herself in her posts. She talks about her diet, her family, her frustration about bank CEO pay and e

Folk punk troubadour Frank Turner doesn't like you putting music on BitTorrent, Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire, Sendspace, or any of the other means by which most people seem to acquire music illegally. In a MySpace blog post entitled "Angry Thoughts On A Tired Subject," Turner states "The basic fact of economics is that we reimburse people for enjoying the fruits of their labour. A situation where people labour and are not reimbursed is untenable and unjust." snapperQ @ FlickrMore sp

A brigade of musical artists including Billy Bragg and Trent Reznor, as part of the Campaign to Close Guantanamo, want to know what music was used as torture during interrogations at the Cuban military base. Variety reports: Previously released documents from a 2005 Army investigation show that the works of Metallica, Britney Spears and some rap artists were used as a "futility technique" with uncooperative detainees. Reznor previously stated on his blog: It's difficult for me to imagin
