  • R.I.P.: Les Paul, 1915-2009

    KMBC has just informed us that electric guitar and recording pioneer Les Paul has died at 94 from complications related to pneumonia. Gibson, the company that makes Paul's namesake guitar, has posted a wonderful, informative tribute. As a coworker said on hearing the news: "This is an ugly shitty day. Dude invented that shit."
