Word has been spreading around the metro that Wilco has booked a show at the Crossroads KC at Grinders on October 6. But did you know that you can send your request to Tweedy and co. now? That's right, you don't have to wait until you're plowed at the show to begin yelling out ... um ... wait. What songs do people yell out at Wilco shows? "War on War"? Probably not. "She's a Jar"?

It seems like just the other day I was grumbling about great '90s bands that have been on a statistically predictable decline this decade (Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins ... you get the picture). But not Wilco. Not our precious, reinventing, lineup-changing, critic-pleasing, two-encore-playing Wilco. If you love Wilco, you go to every show.
