I have a great deal of empathy for Willie. To file for bankruptcy, have a dying career, lose a wife of over 20 years, his family, and now personal possessions is devastating and difficult to deal with. Instead of buying his stuff, people really should have simply donated to him. If not for his apparent good health, he'd be a modern day Job. I pray he doesn't lose his faith and that God would show Willie His love and presence in all of this.

Whatever happened to charity and love in America?

It's gone, isn't it?

This is so sad! I really do feel sorry for him. I also think that society is mocking him because of his faith and religious productions. If he was just a regular actor who had not shared his faith with the country--I doubt they'd be making such a big deal of this. We all make mistakes. At least he is not 'making excuses' and trying to lie his way out of it. We need to pray for him. There by the grace of God go I....or in other words.....thank God you are not in his shoes!

If Mickey Rourke can make a comeback...so can Willie Aames. And if he didn't want to publicly humiliate himself with a going-bankrupt garage sale, he didn't have to do it. He was just it for the fans, the momentary pub, and a couple hundred in $1s to pay the stripper.
