Rich with Rap, Rock, Shitty Animals

Posted by Jason Harper on Fri, Jan 5, 2007 at 5:57 PM

I was really tired this week and chose napping over blogging for the most part. I promise to come back next week with renewed vigor. I might even write a few words on the bands I've seen live lately and have merely watched drunk wondering what the hell I would say about it later in writing and then saying nothing at all. The sweet bliss of postponement.

So I leave you with my blessings for a happy weekend, plus two local hip-hop tracks that were emailed to me today by their respective creators. The first contains instructions on how best to announce yourself when you enter a public place. In the second, the speaker gives pointers on how best to give him respect.

Xta-C, "In the Building"

James Christos, "Let the Band Play On"

Or, if rock's more your speed, I hear they have some new tracks over at Federation of Horsepower's MySpace. Ooh yes, listening to it now. Rockenroll.

Have fun, don't drive drunk, and don't take your kids to the Museum of Shitty Animals. Take them here instead.
