The Ssion's new record, Fool's Gold, is a gawd damn party. Once known as the Kansas City art punks who wouldn't grow up, the band (whose only permanent member as far as I can tell is madcap frontman Cody Critcheloe) is currently working the disco-electroclash front, with sweet 'n nasty results. Local eccentric wolfcub boy J. Ashley Miller is part of the band now. In fact, it may just be him and Cody making the music, in which case they're like the local Hall & Oates of punk disco, and in which case we say, Sara smile you naughty little bitch.
