Aqualung at the Record Bar Tonight

Englishman Matt Hales, aka Aqualung, was supposed to open for the Fray at the Starlight tonight, but the Fray had to cancel, so Hales is taking his apparatus over to the Record Bar for quite the rare intimate appearance for this big-ass star of melancholic pop. I saw him play the Grand Emporium a couple of years ago, and was pleasantly surprised by how dynamic the show was.

It starts at 9 p.m., following Rex Hobart's always delicious and downhome honky tonk dinner show. Opening for the 'lung are Sarah Barrieles and Another Holiday. Cover is $10.
