Rock's the Ticket Tonight -- Ah!

Posted by Jason Harper on Tue, May 8, 2007 at 4:29 PM

Just a heads up about some loud, loud rock happening around town tonight. First, there's whatever's on the radio on your weekday drive home. No, wait!

Don't touch the radio!!!

Listen: Gods of Kansas, Don't Touch the Radio

The Gods, who are actually from Kalamazoo, Michigan, play tonight at El Torreon with Gamut, J Boozer and Kill Your Ex. Show starts at 7, and it's $7 at the door, but once you're in it's all SIX!-SIX!-SIX!

That Honky's guitar makes me want to drink.

Meanwhile, over at the Boozeday Tuesday matinee at the Brick (8 to 10 p.m.), local act the Federation of Horsepower plays with the mighty Honky from Austin, Texas, with bassist J.D. Pinkus from the Butthole Surfers leading the metal squealing.

Wear earplugs and drink whiskey.
