Pitch Music Awards Ceremony at the Uptown

The Pitch Awards Ceremony went down last Friday night at the Uptown. Over the next couple of days, I'll be posting photos, videos and various other dispatches from the event, starting with the Snuff Jizz perfomance. The troupe is a collaboration between Mark Southerland's Snuff Jazz trio and Cody Critcheloes' Ssion/Street Jizz collective. After a free jazz set with psychedelic projections on a screen behind the band, Cody and crew -- in costumes designed by Peggy Noland -- appeared and did "Bullshit" and "Clown," off the latest Ssion record, Fool's Gold.
