If you couldn't tell from the photos recently posted here, the Pitch Music Awards Ceremony last Friday at the Uptown was wilder than a busful of hyenas fighting over a hamloaf. Much of the proceedings were like a session of British Parliament, but with constant (not merely frequent) hooing and heckling from the audience. Peep these videos shot by our intrepid shutterbug Anna-Marie Perry.
First off, some footage of the Snuff Jizz (Snuff Jazz + Street Jizz/Ssion) performance that blew most folks away.
The tamest but not lamest show of the evening belonged to the charismatic and chill Reach and his DJ, Ataxic.
Super Black Market's on-stage entourage, consisting of a Wookie and a greased, almost-naked, buff, cartwheeling dude, left many in the audience scratching their heads, averting their eyes, and/or calling their mommies.
And the Last of the V8s were joined by members of Snuff Jizz and the Rich Boys for a little mindless destruction and mayhem to close the evening.
As for the acceptance speeches, well, they ranged from the classy...
to the crazy.

That's a great suggestion, Mark. Thanks. I'll definitely take it into account for next year's awards.
After seeing the results of the Pitch Insider's Music Awards, I have to say that perception is reality...
Best Band - The Architects
Best New Band - Sex Police (A band started by 3 of the Architects)
Best Singer - The Architects
Best Live Act - The Architects
So if your 30 and belong to the Architects or Architects Lite your good to go??
If these awards are going to continue to center only on the "KC band click" and the same talent reshuffled, why not set up an Under 21 category where there is a whole lot of fresh talent, instead of completely ignoring them?
