Local Guy Interviews (ex)Sex Pistol Glen Matlock

Posted by Jason Harper on Fri, Mar 7, 2008 at 10:05 AM

Manager of bands, photographer, auteur and archly Anglophilic Kansas Citian Harley Sears recently posted a video of an interview he conducted with original Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock. You may remember Sears from the story we ran in November about his involvement with fashion designer Keanan Duffty's line of David Bowie-inspired clothes at Target.

Nicely done, Harley.

And while we're on the Pistols, if you haven't watched this cheeky 1980 interview with John Lydon (then of PiL) on the Tom Snyder show, then drop what you're doing and click play.

(There's a part two as well.)

And if you haven't checked out Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones' Indie 103 (L.A.) radio show, Jonesy's Jukebox, then you probably should do that, too. (Our own Republic Tigers did an in-studio performance on his December 11, 2007 show. Click "Listen" and follow the dates.)
