Bands You Should Know

Ha Ha Palooza

A Springfield band (with some members now living in Kansas City) has apparently landed a spot on the Lollapalooza line-up. If you go to the Lollapalooza Web site and download the flier, you’ll notice the name Ha Ha Tonka listed below all of the super famous headliners. Once known by the stoner-friendly name Amsterband, Ha Ha Tonka makes fine revivalist rock and roll and therefore fits right onto its label, Bloodshot Records. As of Monday, the Lolla gig wasn’t yet listed on Ha Ha's Myspace page or Web site. What’s up with that?
