FRIDAY
Milwaukee DJ Kid Cut Up entertains alongside local remix weirdos Tactic at Glow. The 21 and up show begins at 10 p.m. and runs until 3 a.m.
Also this Friday Bandit Teeth and the Dactyls play the Brick. Bandit Teeth plays brisk, intelligent indie rock that recalls Dinosaur Jr., or the best band you first heard on the radio.
SATURDAY
The Kinetiks play an early show at the Record Bar, sponsored by Plaza hip kids’ boutique Lillibelle. Buy a Ramones onesie, hang out in a bar with your children, marvel at the novelty of it all. And smoke outside, of course.
SUNDAY
Spoon play Liberty Hall. Look for Lawrencian and former Get Up Kid Rob Pope on bass; expect heckling.
On the other end of Mass, Boo and Boo Too play the Replay; expect reverb. Come
early for openers Witch and Hare, who play a homegrown breed of Halloween music and Balkan radio pop.
