Full of guitar histrionics, layered vocal harmonies and jumbo power ballads, Hole In the Sun is every bit the Night Ranger that made you want to put on a flowy dress and writhe on the hood of a car in the '80s. This time around, just be careful not to throw out your back.
On staff are original members bassist/singer Jack Blades, drummer/singer Kelly Keagy and guitarist Brad Gillis, plus guitarist Joel Hoekstra and keyboardist Christian (Bet He Gets A Lot of Shit For That) Cullen. They'll be doing the festival/fair tour this summer, with a stop at Soldiers Memorial Park in St. Louis on May 25 and Frontier Park in Hays, Kansas, on July 3.
