Okay, the guy who runs the (awesome) Recidivism.org website doesn't like the way the internet works, and disallows direct linking to files. So you can find "The World is in the Terlet" by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists near the end of This blog entry.
I just want to point out that a month ago on this episode of the best radio call-in show on the entire planet, The Best Show on WFMU, host Tom Scharpling and callers to the show wrote lyrics for a post-apocalyptic rock song called "The World is in the Terlet," emailed them to a studio where Ted Leo and the Pharmacists were waiting; in less than two hours, they wrote & recorded the music, sent Tom an MP3 file, and the song debuted at the end of the same episode. Oh, and it is amazing.
Well done, Ted. "Fisherman's Blues" is one of my all-time favorite songs, and you did it a good service.
