Ladies and gentlemen, I got the crazy urge last night to bring back my podcast. It's been nearly a year since my last one, and in that time -- though I've grown no wiser nor improved at all morally -- I've, well, I've become more of the sort of person who should be doing podcasts. Basically, I asked myself, "Harper, if you don't do this, who will?" And I answered myself, "Possibly lots of people, and many of them can and will do it better -- but, Harper, none of them will be you."
And so I gathered up some CDs and MP3s and thoughts and put this little jam together. It's basically me bullshitting and introducing songs. I hope some small part of you gleans some joy from it. You will have to download it via a third-party host because it's apparently too large a file for our servers to shoulder, the pussies.
Click on the mighty tiger or the link below it to get the podcast as an MP3.

Note: During the podcast, I believe I say that this is my 14th total podcast, but it's really the 16th. I had my numbers wrong. The 15th was filed on October 3, 2007, and features me talking to a guy pretending to be Tim Finn. There will be more of that kind of thing to come. Oh yes.

Ah, good to see Kansas City's best radio show is back. Screw you, Walt Bodine.
I laughed out loud when you called yourself a "man-boy."
And oh, I had no idea how to pronounce Ssion. I'm still going to pronounce it "stupid band name."
Thanks for the Roy Harper song. Surprised you didn't mention his connection to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
Less talk, more rock!
Holy Eiderdown, Billy! That video was amazing. It will be the "Don't Give Up" of my winter years.
Thanks, Jonathan C. Less malarkey, more rock next time.
Sober as a judge!
Funny stuff.
I'm listening and even though there's NO MUSIC YET, I know it's coming up soon. But the dialog stuff is funny!
Roy Harper~! One of my very favorites
A great version of Another Day sung by Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel can be found on Youtube. I hope to have Olympic Size cover this one day.
PS It's also been done by This Mortal Coil who I strive to be more like every day.
A young Peter and Kate
