Three and a half years after its original release, the Eels’ Blinking Lights and Other Revelations is getting the deluxe treatment on vinyl. The limited edition boxed set (only 2,500 copies will be pressed) is spread out on four LPs; the fourth being a 2005 performance recorded in Manchester.
It also comes with a hardcover book and sweet packaging "numbered and begrudgingly signed by the author himself, Eels leader E.” Oh, and a $205 price tag. If that seems a little steep, you can grab a free, four-track EP of selections from the aforementioned live show at the band’s web site.
