On Tuesday afternoon, I received the following missive via text from KKFI DJ Kool Wayne:
I can only hope it was a mass text, for I would hate for Kool Wayne to consider me a dumbass. I haven't been able to get him on the phone yet, so I don't know about the VH1 acting debut. But according to bet.com, this week's episode of American Gangster is about the Romper Room Gang and their homie, hyphy rap pioneer Mac Dre, who was slain in Kansas City in 2004. Presumably, the American Gangster people interviewed Kool Wayne, as The Pitch did for the story of the bloodfight between Mac Dre and Fat Tone.

I like most of the shows that are on BET but since this show was canceled, I've been trying to find it online and I did. I work and subscribe to DISH Network and with their website DISHonline.com, I'm able to catch up on more than 16 "American Gangster" episodes and many more shows that came on BET. I love it and I know that I'm getting the best value possible and I am inviting anyone who comes across this post to check out DISH Network and experience a value unseen by any other provider!

Boss: that was some bullshit Tone is my cousin and me and him was together everyday and the only reason i was not interview for that cause at the time me and his mother was not on the same terms about his money ($300,000) house, cars and the sell of some guns me and his babymother got rid of. I was mad about it cause they went and interview people that didn't know Tone on that level just may have meet him 1or 2 times then got on TV like they fuck with him on a everyday base. I know everything that was going on from the Mac Dre deal all the way up until the death of my cuz. Me and Tone sat down in mother's house in my office on the phone with C-Bo that was in jail at the time as he told Tone don't go to the bay until he get out and talk to some of Dre's people to clear Tones name, but Tone was so upset about people saying he had something to do with that he knew i was real koo with PSD (one of Mac Dre' group member and close friend)that was also in jail at that time but as i talk to PS and told him Tone had not a dam thing to do with that (i think) them niggas understood that. What people don't know Tone had went to Cali and Vegas a few times months before he got killed to clear his name but if they would have came to me they would have got the real story about why Mac Dre was kill and how Tone felt about the whole deal and not getting that fake ass interview from people that don't know Tone on that level or (behind the music) what was going on behind the whole thing.
