According to explodinginsound.com, the Kansas City/Lawrence duo Audiovox is one of 19 Bands You Need to Know in 2009. A free digital compilation of that name includes the Audiovox track, "A Cautionary Tale," which features Martin Bush (Paper Cities) on vocals, guitar and keyboards. Drummer Brad Chancellor (Orion) is the other half of the band. Chancellor is a designer, too, and he's credited with creating the cover art for the compilation. "A Cautionary Tale" is also the only song available on Audiovox's Myspace page. It reminds me of Postal Service with a twist of emo.
