Wax meets sax on February 10 in the Blue Room, where jazz icon Bobby Watson and DJ Miles Bonny host a Blue Note Records listening party at the American Jazz Museum (1600 East 18th Street). Bonny will take requests from 7 to 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to share their favorite Blue Note recordings from the past 70 years. Local Blue Note Records aficionado Elmer Jackson will add to the experience by sharing his wealth of knowledge about the great jazz label.
