The good news is that 2009 marks Season to Risk's 20th anniversary, and the band is getting back together on Saturday, February 28, at the Record Bar (duh). The reunion show is a benefit for Kyle Frick, a former Hurricane doorman who has been fighting Ewing's sarcoma for the past 22 years (he's only 38). The Mendoza Lie and Restless Breed are also playing the show. Rumor has it STR might be planning some midwest tour dates later in the year. Bloody good.
