Second Ting Tings Show Added to April 7 Record Bar Date

Posted by Jason Harper on Wed, Feb 25, 2009 at 3:24 PM

Due, presumably, to popular demand, British buzz band the Ting Tings will play not one but two shows on Tuesday, April 7, at the Record Bar. For the first show, which is all-ages, the doors open at 5:30, show starts at 6, done by 9 p.m. CHANGEOVER. Doors open at 9:30 for the second show. Tickets for both shows are $16 and go one sale this Saturday, February 28.

The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name

Or wait ... maybe this first show was added so that people who wanted to see any of the other big shows that night -- because, damn, April 7 is going to be, like, The Night The Music Came to Kansas, with Morrissey at the Midland and Bonnie "Prince" Billy at Liberty Hall and the acclaimed Colombian band Aterciopelados at the Beaumont and Phillip Motherfucking Glass at the Lied Center (not that Glass and the Ting Tings have that much crossover in fanbase, but hell, I'd see them both, but I'D SEE ALL THESE SHOWS IF I COULD).

I'm Confused. So, they added the first show, right?

One of them has to already be sold out. So what goes on sale Saturday?

And if so, does anyone want to trade 2-4 tix with me for the late show?
