Founded by DJ and promoter Bill Pile, with help from a few associates, UMove.net has become quite a resource for local event info, readings, eardrum nutrients and more. It's smartly divided into three parts.

The last two editions of U's Mixtape podcast offer sets from DJ Rob Lemon of St. Louis and local duo Tactic.

U:Move offers food for your brain as well as your booty. The blog side just added an interview by U:Mover Dan Leist with Bassnectar, which includes a review of a show by the SF DJ in Columbia, MO. Dig this excerpt.

U: What track (other than your own) is getting the biggest response at your gigs right now?

BASSNECTAR: To be honest, Nirvana's "In Bloom".

U:Move events has the inside dope on DJ Skribble tomorrow at Power & Light, Rob Lemon comin' up at the Czar Bar and, ooh, Treasure Fingers in May at Mosaic. Treasure Fingers, coincidentally, is playing Nomathmatics' Austin showcase this weekend. We won't be there for that. But from now on, we won't have to miss a thing on the DJ scene, thanks to U:Move.
