Posing the dire-sounding but not unwarranted question, "How many lives will the Insane Clown Posse ruin?", Crime Scene KC points us to an article in the Southwest Missourian, which tells of how Robin C. Shelman, a 23-year-old self-described Juggalo from Oklahoma City got thrown in jail for brandishing a hatchet at a woman in a Steak 'n Shake parking lot in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and then subsequently assaulting an officer. Shelman and the woman had pulled over in the parking lot to scream at each other because Shelman had cut her off in traffic, according to a witness.
Shelman informed police he was a "juggalo, or fan of the Detroit-based band Insane Clown Posse. He had on an Insane Clown Posse T-shirt at the time of his arrest, had a "Juggalo" sticker on his car, and wore the band's logo, a clown bearing a hatchet, on his belt buckle.
Moral of the story: If a Juggalo cuts you off in traffic, let it go. It's not worth it -- neither being menaced with a hatchet nor reminded of the fact that this disgusting, meth-addled subculture even exists. It's sad, really.
