Shelman, a 23-year-old self-described Juggalo from Oklahoma City got thrown in jail for brandishing a hatchet at a woman in a Steak 'n Shake parking lot in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and then subsequently assaulting an officer. Shelman and the woman had pulled over in the parking lot to scream at each other because Shelman had cut her off in traffic, according to a witness.
Shelman informed police he was a "juggalo, or fan of the Detroit-based band Insane Clown Posse. He had on an Insane Clown Posse T-shirt at the time of his arrest, had a "Juggalo" sticker on his car, and wore the band's logo, a clown bearing a hatchet, on his belt buckle.
Moral of the story: If a Juggalo cuts you off in traffic, let it go. It's not worth it -- neither being menaced with a hatchet nor reminded of the fact that this disgusting, meth-addled subculture even exists. It's sad, really.

No one's lives are ruined by music, it is personal choice to listen to whatever one wants to and to blame music for one's actions is utterly ridiculous, it's like saying Stephen King's the Dark Tower made me do it, or 'I Love Lucy' was just one too many to watch and I just had to hit that sales clerk for selling the merchandise. There is no such thing as they made me do it unless they literally were there and treated you like their puppet. I'm sorry, only an idiot will do what someone says. And just because they choose to listen to whatever music does not make then an idiot because you can't view it from their point or fathom why they would even like it let alone put the volume on when a song is on. It is what it is, so leave it be.

I am an African-American and I know way too much how it feels to be put into a box. The media and so many other people have labeled us as monsters who only shoot and rob people. I don't have a crminal record and I know many blacks who don't either. I think it's sad how society tries to put everyone into a box and categorize them as good or evil. People of all races commit crimes and people who are not poor commit crimes. I think that it's sad they have labeled all the juggalo affiliates as being a menance to society. While some juggalo's have committed crimes others have not so we need to stop being so judgemental. The one's that do commit crimes should pay the cost but the one's who havent commit crimes should not be lumped into the category with the others.
