This is how sweet blues rock jams are manufactured.

True to their moniker the Factory Workers are busy getting a job done -- the job of recording an album. The two-man bluesy rock band is working with producer Josh Thomas -- with whom both Factory Workers also play in High Diving Ponies -- on their first full-length album. Alheim Amador, the Worker who sings and plays guitar, sent me a little taste of what they're working on. Click here to hear " a fuzzy, catchy track reminds me a teeny bit of the Strokes. Check out the Factory Workers on MySpace for more tracks.

I was wondering how long it would take the Pitch to catch on to the Factory Workers. I've seen every one of their live shows and they're awesome. Very different from most everything else in KC right now. Two guys, two instruments, and a lot of passion. TFW rock!
