Brett Michaels owned by large chunk of Broadway scenery

Posted by Jason Harper on Mon, Jun 8, 2009 at 11:05 AM

After all the super-serious reportage on anti-Jazzy-Jeff-ism over the weekend, a little levity was in order. So thanks, KCTV5, for providing just what we needed: video Bret Michaels getting walloped by a descending backdrop following his loathsome glam band's performance at the Tony Awards yesterday, and -- best of all -- Neil Patrick Harris making fun of it immediately after.

Click here for the clip including Harris' quip, or check out the just-the-slapstick version below.

Um, I believe the Tony Awards were held in New York this year. But thanks for sharing, Mrs. Anderson.

What do you expect from the power and light district. They have shown time and time again that they want the district to stay Pure and White. As if whites don't act a fool especially when they get drunk. It's bad enough that eveything they give in the Jazz district is priced so high the people in the area can't afford to attend.our tax dollars are used and yet we are the ones who seem to be banned.Kansas City is a racist area, always has and will always be, as long as we continue to have certain families run kansas city. Kansas City should be jumpin like St. Louis and Chicago, but oh no the white folks don't want that. It is a new era and this racist B.S. is being done by the old heads. Let the young people have some input and we will see a change in tired Kansas City for the better.
