A bunch of bands are rocking the Riot Room patio tonight, starting at 7 p.m. The occasion: a CD release party for local garage rockers the Also Rans. The festivities include free beer.
We learned about this sweet deal in an e-mail from Killer Cars that really strives to get the free beer point across. Here's an excerpt from the message, along with the evening's line-up of talent:
Oh, did i mention FREE BEER? because there will be FREE BEER, so if you like FREE BEER you really should come to this show where the FREE BEER will be. The Also Rans will tap 2 kegs of FREE BEER at 7pm when the show starts and any money that comes in at the door will go toward even more FREE BEER.Here's the show lineup if you need more convincing. (I'll assume I had you at FREE BEER though.)
7pm (outside) Moonshine Romance
8pm (outside) Love Tusk
9pm (outside) The Also Rans
10pm (Inside) Killer Cars
11pm (Inside) Fairbanks
12pm (Inside) The Also Rans (again, but drunker and probably playing songs they don't even know)
