Posted by Jason Harper on Tue, Jun 23, 2009 at 12:41 PM

Our wayward hip-hoppers James Christos, PL, Jamel Rockwell and the Pyrex Kids hit the road last week for a DIY-style tour. Point your browser to the Anarchy Tour Diary to keep up with the mayhem. The latest installment, sent in earlier today... [emphasis added throughout]

"What up KC?!!! James Christos checking in from the road. Just a little warning...on my entries, I gotta keep it 100% so imma write how I talk. Now that we have that understood, here's the real on everything that's gone down so far:

First off, Pyrex Kidz dropped out from the tour. This shit takes bread, and they was short. No hard feelings, though, it's business. We'll still continue to work together. They may catch the second leg of the tour. After the Pyrex Kidz glitch, I was informed by my driver that he wasn't going to be able to go. What!!! Found this out hours before we were supposed to pull off. But You know me, I'm DIY anyway. So I stocked up on the Red (cheap version of Red Bull found at Aldi) and got my Ass behind the Wheel!

All the preliminary Bull Shit aside, it was a pretty smooth ride to Cali -- with the exception of the battery dying from having too many PDAs and laptops hooked up while the truck was sitting in the parking lot of Circus Circus in Reno (and the lights were on). Shout out to the fine law enforcement officials of Reno 9-1-1 for jumping the whip.

When we finally reached the Bay Area, it was like a breath of fresh air. For those who don't know, I was born and raised in the Bay until the age of 16. It's home. We linked up with my homeboy Danny (official Bay liason). We booked into our hotel and then...Got LIT!!!!!!! I don't remember anything after that. I just woke up the next day. You know how that is. Oh yeh, we did go by the venue to check it out. It's a dope spot in downtown San Jose called the Mission Ale House. On Monday we linked up with Danny again and had a little meet-and-greet with some local DJs. We had a freestyle session just wilding on some instrumentals. we have some footage of that we'll be posting soon.

Now, during the session my boy Danny found it mandatory to introduce PL and Rockwell to some of California's fine agricultural products. So I guess there were two sessions going on. So of course, fast food was a must after their "session."

We went to In-N-Out Burger. When you're in Cali make sure you hit it up. It's like gourmet McDonald's with crack sprinkled in it. It's addictive!!!

Well that's it for now. I'll check back in a few. Oh yeh, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. We hope to make the town proud.

What's The Deal Folk? I'm glad you fella's got out and on the road despite it all! I'm so upset I missed this first leg but we shall soon link back up and rock it like we should! Please hold it down & show one and all what Guerilla Movement is really about! Down the RED & smash the gas! See you in a few!

I'm disappointed to see the Pyrex Kidz go. I saw them at the Riot Room a few weeks ago, and they know how to put on a fun show. It would have been worth it to them to stay on board, in terms of publicity, I would think. How much would this tour have cost, really? You can have a great show, but if you don't get out there and get exposure for yourself, it's the proverbial tree-falling-in-the-woods situation.

Nice to see they made it out of almost-Minnesota. I laughed out loud when JC referenced the Red (Thunder)!
