On the Horizon: Snow Patrol Announces Kansas City Date

Posted by Nick Spacek on Tue, Jun 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM

Multi-platinum recording artists Snow Patrol have announced dates for their upcoming headline tour of the U.S. Snow Patrol are on the road in support of their current album A Hundred Million Suns. The tour starts September 10th in St. Paul, MN, and will criss-cross the U.S. and Canada before finishing up in Los Angeles on October 20th. They play Kansas City at the Uptown on September 29, and tickets go on sale July 11.

The only song of theirs I ever liked was "Spitting Games" from Final Straw. That song is one of those songs like "In A Big Country" by Big Country, in that I cannot stand anything else the band's ever released, but would easily go see a band play live to hear that one song. Seriously, it's that freaking good. Otherwise, I find them to be like an even more boring Coldplay (for whom they are currently opening), who I find to be a less-interesting Radiohead, who I find to be terribly tedious.
