Video: Janelle Monae joins No Doubt and Paramore on stage in New York

No Doubt and Paramore are playing the Starlight a week from today. No idea whether they'll be joined on stage by Kansas City, Kansas, native Janelle Monae, who, this weekend in Jones Beach , NY, bounced on stage in her trademark pompadour, white jacket and saddle shoes to join the percussive action on "Stand and Deliver." Someone on the front row had a HD handheld and caught the Monae appearance. Now if only she'd appear here.

i am so stoked for this show in st. louis next week. not gonna lie. janelle's off the tour by then, alas. i also like that gwen has to put on her "No Doubt gear" when touring with them -- same pants, hair, etc. it's comforting, really.
