Michael Jackson Remberances High and Low

Posted by Nick Spacek on Tue, Jul 7, 2009 at 12:00 PM

As the Michael Jackson memorial service gets underway at Los Angeles' Staples Center, I felt it appropriate to provide both high and low tribute to the memory of the late King of Pop.

The high: A 360-degree panoramic view of Jackson's collection of pinball machines, as well as Star Wars ephemera and assorted other toys. It takes a while to load, but you can wander through the whole thing and check out the display, courtesy of Pinorama. It should be noted that this was shot at a Beverly Hills' department store and not at Neverland Ranch.

The low: This acapella cover of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." Now, I know that Sonos "shot this for fun a few months ago," but despite their claims that with "the recent tragic news, it has taken on a whole new meaning for us," I can't help but feel that this is a blatant cash grab.
