First Friday B-boys @ Bridgeport Church

Posted by Jason Harper on Wed, Jul 8, 2009 at 8:00 AM

Haven't you always wanted to breakdance in church? This past First Friday, July 3, some local b-boys (Ray and Leo Night Us, if we're not mistaken) uprocked, downrocked and tornadoed around the floor of 18th Street's Bridgeport Church and Art Space before a crowd of Crossroads tourists, who kept bumping into featured artist John Raux's paintings. Unfortunately, I stopped recording right before this dorky white guy in a polo shirt tucked into khakis hopped out onto the floor and did a standing backflip, but it's still pretty good for a mid-week diversion. Enjoy.
