Incoming: Otep at the Beaumont, August 11

Female-fronted LA metal band Otep plays the Beaumont on August 11, just one week before the release of their latest album, Smash the Control Machine, on Victory Records. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 10, at 5pm.

As an added bonus, the folks putting on the show--Hunt Industries--made the following offer via their MySpace:

I imagine metal acts probably have a greater chance at getting signed than say, a country bar band. But you never know, so get crackin' with some applications.
