Stream No Age's Losing Feeling

Personally, I loved No Age's last album, Nouns. Not as much as Weirdo Rippers, but there's no way they'll ever top "Every Artist Needs A Tragedy" or "Everybody's Down" ever, and I've come to grips with that.

If you head over to the Sub Pop website, you can stream their new EP, Losing Feeling, for free. It's only four songs, so you can listen to it over your lunch break and still have time to grab a drink from the pop machine.

It's a good selection of tunes. They're still discordant, but less ramshackle. It sounds more like the Sonic Youth recording aesthetic, as opposed to Vivian Girls. In other words, they harness the noise and make it work for them, rather than making stuff sound awful for awfulness' sake.

It's also worth noting that if you decide to pre-order Losing Feeling, you can grab the 12-inch for $8, as opposed to $10 if you wait for the release date. I know two bones is enough cash to make a difference these days.
